ANNABA - The Banque Nationale d’Algérie inaugurated on March 30 two Islamic finance branches. One in Annaba and the other in the East of the country. The inauguration was attended by the institution's Director General, Mr. Mohamed Lamine Lebbou, who had on this occasion by his side, among others, the local authorities and the central executives of the BNA. ...part of the BNA's strategy to diversify its banking products and expand its network of local branches by getting closer to citizens in order to offer Islamic financial products and modern services in line with this concept of financing.
Located in the heart of Annaba, this new banking facility of the BNA, offering Islamic financial services and products, will enable the institution to draw closer to its existing and prospective customers. This opening will also allow the BNA to actively support all local economic actors and contribute to local development dynamics through Islamic banking products.
It should be noted that the distribution network of BNA's Islamic finance products has 8 branches and 66 windows to date. In addition, the banking institution plans to open 4 other branches this year.
